Bethany Fellowship Church likes to consider itself a missions-minded church. Outreach of all types is a primary consideration. Not only do we actively support seven missionaries/evangelists but also we have a constant local outreach here at our church. Bethany Fellowship has established links with Global Ministry Teams (GMT) with offices in Kansas City and Virginia. GMT’s mission is to motivate, enlist and trains the next generation of workers who use humanitarian, educational, and church planting approaches to share the Gospel with those who have never heard. They at present have teams all over the globe and are expanding even in areas of Islam. We are excited at our association with GMT and are using them as our main foreign missions outreach. Our desire is to eventually send teams from our church to be part of this ministry.
At present we support directly Irvin Rutherford who is Director of GMT and a close friend of our pastor. Others are Danny Jaynes, Missionary to Ghana and Paul Ai, Missionary to Vietnamese People.
Our other foreign missionaries are Steve and Lynne Razors of World Gospel Outreach and Roscoe Canada of God’s Place for His Little Children (in Guatemala). As time goes on, we would like to continually add to this list of those deserving missionaries.
Other ministries we support at this time are Jerry Davis of Streetreach Ministries, Melva Lea, a missionary to Israel and the Jewish people. |
